SEC reviews measures adopted to combat COVID 19

Panjim: The State Executive Committee (SEC) in Goa under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Parimal Rai, IAS, reviewed the various measures being initiated and the problems faced by different teams dealing with the outbreak of COVID 19 on Friday.

According to a statement, the meeting was attended by Principal Secretary, Science and Technology, Puneet Kumar Goel, IAS; Secretary, Transport, S K Bandari, IAS; Secretary, Finance, D A Hawaldar, IAS; Secretary, Fisheries, P S Reddy, IAS; Secretary, Education, Nila Mohanan, IAS; CEO, Kunal, IAS; Secretary, Tourism, J Ashok, IAS; Secretary Panchayats, Sanjay Grihar, IAS; Secretary, Law, C R Garg, IAS; Secretary, Civil Supplies, Isha Khosla, IAS; Secretary Revenue, Sanjay Kumar, IAS; IGP Jaspal Singh, IPS; senior Officials from RBI and SBI and other head of Departments.

The SEC informed that the Government of India would transfer cash to over 30 crore beneficiaries in the entire country during the lock down period and instructed bankers to take effective measures to implement social distancing norms.
