Six-storey building collapses in Noida, 50 people injured

Greater Noida, July 17 (UNI) At least 50 people were injured when a six-storey building collapsed into a near-by building here at Shah Beri village under Bisrakh police station limits on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, the NDRF team reached the spot and started the rescue operation, the injured have been admitted in a nearby private hospital.

Greater Noida, SP, (Rural) Suniti Singh said, that around 2200 hrs a six-storey building, which was recently completed crashed into an under-construction building nearby.

In the incident, at least 50 people who lived in the building were buried under the debris. Receiving the information the police and Greater Noida Authority reached the spot, both the police and the authority tried to remove the debris under which people were buried, but due to more debris all people were not rescued.
