Soumitra Chatterjee’s condition better
Kolkata: The health condition of octogenarian thespian Soumitra Chatterjee is better on Friday.
According to hospital sources, “Soumitra Chatterjee slept well. Restlessness improved. On Bipap at night, now on nasal mask. ”
“Saturation normal. Sodium and potassium levels corrected. Normal and regular tests to be repeated today”, sources said.
The veteran actor, who carved a niche for himself for his astounding role as “Feluda” in Oscar winning Director Satyajit Ray’s movies, was hospitalised on October 6 with Covid-19 positive.
The Dadasaheb Phalke awardee also tested negative for Coronavirus and was shifted out of the Covid ward.
