Southampton, Jun 5 (GCSports) South Africa won the toss and opted to bat against India here at the Rose Bowl stadium on Wednesday.
The Proteas seems to be in crisis after losing their opening two matches to England and Bangladesh, respectively, and a loss against India could affect their confidence.
While on the other hand, India, the two-time world champions wouldn’t want to lose their opening match in the World Cup and they will put all their effort against South Africa.
Apart from India’s strong batting line-up, they also have best bowling attack in generations – and possibly their best ever in ODIs.
Both sides have opted to play two wrist spinners in the match.
