St. Francis Xavier Novennas to Commence Tomorrow


The novenas to celebrate the feast of St. Francis Xavier on 3rd December will begin tomorrow 24th November. The theme for the feast this year is “Let’s be witnesses to Christian values in the footsteps of St. Francis Xavier and Joseph Vaz.
Masses during the novenas will be held 6 am, 7:15 am, 8:15 am, 9:30 am, 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 3:45 pm, 5:15 pm and 6:15 pm with the mass at 8:15 am being the novena mass. On Sunday 28th November an additional mass will be celebrated at 5 am.

English masses will be held every day at 6:15 pm while a masses in regional languages will be celebrated as follows: Marathi 27th November at 11:30 pm, Tamil 28th November 11:30 am, Malayalam 28th November 12:30 noon, Portuguese 1st December 11:30 am.
The high mass on 3rd December will begin at 10:30 am and other masses will be held at 4 am, 5 am, 6 am, 7 am, 8 am, 9 am, 12:30 noon, 4 pm, 5 pm and 6 pm which will in English. The high mass will have Archbishop of Mumbai, Cardinal Oswald Gracias as the main celebrant.
