State BJP President To Be Elected After National President Elections

Bharatiya Janata Party’s State Observer Arti Mehra said that BJP’s state president will be elected only after the election of party’s national president.

The vacancy for the post is created after the BJP State President Laxmikant Parsekar was inducted as health minister in the Manohar Parrikar-led cabinet.

She said that the Goa unit will be headed by the leader who has the ability to take along all others and further added that the new chief should be able to maintain balance between the state government and the party organization.

Pointing out that the person with the vision of next five years will be given an opportunity to lead the party, she informed that the party has not yet short listed anyone for the job.

BJP will hold its national executive meeting on 24th and 25th May in Mumbai.
