Khartoum, Mar 9 (GCCurrentAffairs) Sudan Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok on Monday survived an assassination attempt while he was on his way to work.
“The health of the head of Sudan’s Council of Ministers Abdalla Hamdok is good,” Sputnik quoted PM’s press service as saying.
Hamdok’s motorcade was attacked when the prime minister was driving to work, a Sudan TV broadcaster said.
According to media reports, the attack took place in the Kobar region of Khartoum. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack and no arrests have been made as yet.
