Former Justice of the Supreme Court and present Lokayukta of Karantaka, Justice N Santosh Hegde will be delivering a lecture on ‘Role of Lokayukta in good governance’ at International Centre, Goa (ICG). The talk will be held on 25th April at 6 pm and is open to all.
Following the lecture Justice Hegde will interact with the participants and as a prelude to the talk, a workshop is planned for NGOs on participation of civil society in drafting Goa Lokayukta Bill.
Justice Hegde’s lecture will be preceded by a workshop organized with various local NGOs on participation of civil society in drafting Goa Lokayukta Bill in context of Jan Lokpal Bill.
This will be the inaugural talk of a series of talks planned by ICG on good governance with one talk every month. The talks on good governance is organized by ICG in collaboration with V M Salgaocar & Bros Ltd.
