Tamankar skips GPCC President in complaint to ACB

While grapevine in Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) talk about its President Subash Shirodkar being the political godfather of its spokesperson Sudip Tamankar, it should not come as a surprise that in his complaint to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Illegal mining, wherein Minister for Mines were held accountable for the rampant illegal mining in the state, he seems to conveniently forgotten to name Subash Shirodkar who was also held the Mining Portfolio in 1999-2000.

Interestingly Tamankar names another Congress leader Somnath Zuwarkar as being the Minister of Mines, when the above leader never held the mining portfolio.

When questioned Tamankar, surprisingly told this reporter that at that point of time during the complaint, he was provided information by them Opposition Leader who told him Zuwarkar was a Minister for Mines, therefore he simply never checked and wanted all Minister of Mines to be held accountable for the illegal mining scam.

When further questioned whether he would add Shirodkar’s name to complaint, Tamankar stated, “If proof is made known to him. He would also add Subash Shirodkar’s name to it.”
