Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday expressed shock over the martyrdom of Army Jawan from Nizamabad district in the firing that took place on the Line of Control (LoC) at Machil sector of Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.
In a message, Mr Rao said the Army Jawan Mahesh would be remembered in the history as the one who sacrificed his life for the country.
He said that the state government would standby and support the family.
Mr Rao announced Rs 50 Lakh financial assistance to the family.
He said one member in Mahesh’s family, based on the qualification, will be given a government job.
The Chief Minister said a house site would also be allotted to the family of Mahesh.
