Terrorists throw a high-intensity hand-grenade at home of GoaChronicle journalist in Kashmir

Srinagar: Terrorists threw high-intensity grenade at the home of GoaChronicle journalist in Baramulla, Kashmir. The grenade has damaged the car in the home compound and certain sections of the home. The family is safe.

The dastardly attack happened at 9pm today. The grenade reportedly fell outside in the compound surrounding the house and blasted, therefore everyone at home were safe.

“The attack on a GoaChronicle journalist is not going to dampen the spirit of the team to further investigate into the radical groups in Kashmir and their intent to create disharmony in the nation. Our journalist will be back in action. His family is safe and strong. The army and police authorities are investigating the matter. They have taken the CCTVs recording,” expressed Savio Rodrigues, Founder & Editor-in-Chief, GoaChronicle.

GoaChronicle journalist has been under the radar of terrorists since the last eight months. In fact his visit to his house in Baramulla was after eight months because he did not want any harm to come to his family while being under-watch.

It is important to point out that his mother is also the Sarpanch of the locality in Baramulla, Kashmir and is also under protection due to attack on Sarpanch in Kashmir.

The GoaChronicle journalist has been investigating the deep-roots of radicalization of youths in Kashmir through Indian and foreign Islamic radical groups.
