Those found disturbing peace after Ayodhya verdict would not be spared: DGP

Supaul, Nov 9 (GCCurrentAffairs) Bihar director general of police Gupteshwar Pandey today warned miscreants of stern action if they were found guilty of disturbing law and order after the delivery of judgement by the Supreme Court on Ram Janambhoomi and Babri mosque land dispute.

r Pandey said that nobody would be spared if he was found guilty of disturbing peace and harmony following the judgement on Ayodhya issue.

“Police personnel will take full care of people’s security,” he remarked.

The DGP also appealed to all to verify the authenticity of comment posted in social media before forwarding it. He said any offending message forwarded by somebody could put lakhs of people in trouble and spoil the atmosphere adding such a person would be fully responsible for it.

“Bihar police is keeping a close vigil on social media and nobody should be in doubt that he would not be caught by forwarding wrong message,” he added.

Mr Pandey said that police personnel were ready to provide all assistance to people and were expecting full support from them. He said people should inform nearest police stations if they found rumour mongers indulging in their nefarious acts. People could also inform police if they found somebody provoking people following the pronouncement of judgement on Ayodhya issue.
