Toolkit case: Disha Ravi moves Delhi HC seeking directions against police not to leak probe material to media

New Delhi: Disha Ravi, the environmental activist from Bengaluru, who was arrested by the Delhi Police last week in the ‘tool kit’ case, on Thursday approached the Delhi High Court and sought directions against the Delhi Police not to leak any probe material to media.

Ravi, who was arrested by the Delhi Police’s cyber-crime unit for her alleged involvement in sharing a toolkit backing the farmers’ protest was shared by Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg.

On Tuesday, a Delhi court had directed Delhi Police to hand over Ravi a copy of the FIR and other documents related to her arrest in connection with the case.

The court also directed police to provide her copies of the arrest memo and remand paper which was placed to seek her custodial interrogation.
