Bengaluru: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and the Tourism Minister CT Ravi have tendered his resignation to the Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, upon his appointment as the party’s National General Secretary.
The minister, in a tweet, has communicated that he had resigned from the minister’s post and sent his letter to the Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa.
He said that he will visit New Delhi and take part in the BJP’s National Office bearers meet scheduled to be held on Monday.
The BJP leader, who is representing the Chikkamagalur Assembly seat in the Karnataka assembly had been inducted to the cabinet by the Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, after the JD(S)-Congress
coalition government collapsed in July last year.
