Hamirpur: The district administration has approved twenty-six industrial units involving a sum of 5.43 crore rupees under the Chief Minister Swavalamban Yojana.
At a meeting of the Working Group of the scheme held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Debasweta Banik, the committee approved the applications put up by the Industries department. Now all those applications would be sent to the banks for giving loans to the applicants.
Deputy Commissioner said that as many as 89 people would get employment in these units and a sum of 1.05 crore rupees would be given to the owners as a subsidy for setting up the industrial units.
She instructed the banks of the district to give a positive and expeditious approach for loans to the applications coming under this scheme and also ensure immediate disposal of all pending cases by March 31, 2021.
General Manager of Industries Department, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary presented the details of the achievements of the previous year and said that Himachali youths and girls aged 18 to 45 were eligible for Mukhyamantri Swavalamban Yojana and they can set up their industries in any manufacturing sector or notified service area.
To apply to the scheme, the applicant has to visit the website of the Department of Industries, www.mmsy.ho.gov.in and by filling the online application form of the Mukhyamantri Swavalamban Scheme, Aadhaar Card, Bonafide Himachali certificate and project report will have to be uploaded
