Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu on Sunday had a brief stopover at UAE capital Abu Dhabi while returning from Nairobi, where he attended India-Kenya Joint Trade Committee meeting held in the African Capital.
Prabhu used his in transit visit to meet ministers, business leaders, technologists, Diaspora, Chartered Accountants and India’s Ambassador to UAE Navdeep Suri.
‘Had very brief stopover intransit to UAE, was used for several imp meets, with Minister, Biz leaders, technologists, Diaspora, Chartered Accountants, Amb@navdeepsuri @IndembAbuDhabi, CGI Vipul @cgidubai organised v short but excellent, productive,meets v v Useful for India, we do more,’ the Minister said on micro-blogging site Twitter.
Consul General of India in Dubai Vipul organised very short but excellent, productive meets which were very useful for India, he said, adding that more could be done in this direction.
Mr Prabhu visited Dubai Future Accelerator along with UAE Minister for Artificial Intelligence Omar Al Olama.
‘Got first hand perspective on cutting edge innovations in healthcare, urban mobility, delivery of public services etc which can be used for the benefit of common people,’ he said in another tweet.
Prabhu held one-on-one meeting with business leaders Forum.
The minister also greeted people on the joyous occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
