“Leaders should forget their personal differences and remain united to strengthen the party’s base” said Maharashtra’s Urban Development Minister Bhaskar Jadhav after inaugurating the Bardez taluka convention of the Nationalist Congress Party at Mapusa on Sunday.
He opined that the NCP had very good chances of improving its tally in Goa if the party leaders take their task seriously. Pointing out that the constituencies in Goa were small, he said it would not be very difficult for leaders to establish contact with each and every family through party workers, who he said should address their grievances.
NCP observer for Goa Prakash Bhinsale opined that nothing could stop the party from improving its tally of three seats in Goa. He however advised party leaders to sort out their grievances within the confines of four walls instead of airing them in public.
NCP Goa State President and Revenue Minister Jose Philip D’Souza said the party will make its presence felt in all the 40 Assembly constituencies of Goa and vowed to bring about unity amongst the rank and file of the party in the State.
