Unnao survivor accident: A mockery of rule of law, says Kejriwal
New Delhi, Jul 29 (GCCurrentAffairs) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday lashed out at Yogi Adityanath government, over the accident, in which a rape survivor was critically injured and said it is a mockery of rule of law.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Mr Kejriwal said,’Systematic attempts to eliminate the Unnao rape victim and her family appear to be a pre-planned conspiracy & a mockery of rule of law. How can any civilised society allow such state sponsored barbarism?”
The Unnao rape survivor was critically injured, while two of her aunts were killed in a road accident in Rae Bareli on Sunday. The survivor was given security round the clock, but during the accident, no security personnel were present
Her family alleged that BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Senger was behind the accident, as they were regularly being threatened, to withdraw their charges.
