Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that one day of the week will be reserved for redressal of employees’ grievances in the government departments.
“In every office, high officials should take cognizance of the problems and complaints of employees for one hour a day in a week. Reserve the last one hour of the office hours of the day to resolve these issues,” Yogi said in a high-level meeting held here on Tuesday.
CM said there are many complaints of employees, which can be resolved by taking little cognizance at the local level. Due to the busyness of day-to-day work, it is often ignored, due to which the matter remains pending. In such a situation, it is necessary to fix an hour’s time on one day in a week to listen to the problems of the government employees, he said and added that the complaints should be disposed of in a time-bound manner.
He has instructed that if any employee working in any department under the state government dies due to covid infection, the department should cooperate with the concerned family with full sensitivity and sympathy
