New Delhi: Vice President, M Venkaiah Naidu on Friday paid tributes to Deendayal Upadhyaya on his 104th birth anniversary, saying his philosophy of Integral Humanism would continue to guide the nation.
In a message on the occasion, Mr Naidu said, “I pay my humble tributes to the great leader and profound thinker, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on his birth anniversary today. His philosophy of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya has been a source of inspiration for all and will continue to guide the nation in the times to come.”
Deendayal Upadhyaya was a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) thinker and former leader of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, the precursor of the present ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. He was born on this day in 1916 in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.
