Later in the day, Shoma Chaudhary stated that she had accepted the victim’s resignation letter and that Tehelka accepted her resignation.
The victim says the organisation has failed her and that is has become very difficult for her to work in such conditions in the same organisation.
Three other colleagues had resigned after the alleged fateful incident. The staffers are not happy with the way the case has been handled by managing editor Shoma Chaudhary.
She had alleged that she had been sexually assaulted by Tehelka managing editor Tarun Tejpal has agreed to give a statement to the Goa police.
The victim is likely to be brought to Panjim tomorrow, adding that her statement would be recorded in front of the magistrate in Panjim.
