The Chief Minister made this announcement at a cabinet briefing yesterday while blaming the former Congress government of recruiting candidates on fake documents in the Health Department and Public Works Department.
“We received several complaints in this regards all of which will be investigated. There will be a special package offered to these government servants who got jobs on fake certificates,” Parrikar told reporters.
The cabinet has also resolved to amend the existing Recruitment Rules wherein certificates attached during the recruitment will be authenticated, and those found guilty will be dismissed from the service and prosecuted.
Parrikar decided to take this milder step, a day after it was decided that the government will issue warning (to employees who got jobs on fake documents) to resign in 60 days.
