Dr Tedros, why has WHO put out a distorted map of India?

The World Health Organisation in its Corona Disease (COVID-19) Dashboard Scenario that is hosted on it global online portal www.who.int, shockingly displays a distorted map of India.

In the global map on display on its web portal, WHO has used different colors to show Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh different from the rest of India.

Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh have been marked in grey color, while the rest of India is marked in a navy blue color.

Shockingly the disputed border space of Aksai Chin is shaded in grey and blue strips, similar to the color of China.

Whether the action of WHO is one of ignorance or deliberation it certainly raises eyebrows over the global health watch dog organization putting up a distorted map of India.

Incidentally, as WHO has made this faux pas,  Health Minister of India, Dr Harsh Vardhan currently holds the post of the Chairman of WHO Executive Board.

It is also been widely reported that the current Director-General of WHO, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus shares close links with China and its leader Xi Jinping.
