As the turf war between the Entertainment Society of Goa and Directorate of Film Festival continues as usual, uncertainty prevails over who will inaugurate the International Film Festival of India slated to commence from 23rd November 2010.
It is learnt that the Entertainment Society of Goa wants popular Hindi film actor currently riding a high over the super hit status of his last release Dabangg Salman Khan to do the honours. In fact Chief Minister Digambar Kamat who heads the ESG has even written to Salman Khan.
On the other hand the Directorate of Film Festival is hoping to get doyen of Hindi film industry Yash Chopra to do the honours as according to it, his presence will give the event dignity and respect and given the clout he enjoys in the industry, he is also expected to rope in the glamour quotient.
Hindi film actor who has won both mass adulation as well as critical acclaim for his varied portrayals, Ajay Devgan is also on the list of probable chief guests for the inaugural function that will be held on 22nd November evening.
