Yediyurappa appeals people to take nCoV vaccine and follow guidelines

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Thursday cautioned people against flouting Covid-19 guidelines and advised them to take both the vaccine jabs.

In a tweet, he said vaccination is the best option to become safe and there is nothing to be afraid of while the vaccination. From Thursday onwards the vaccination is available for above 45-year-old people. This is the only way out to protect ourselves from the covid-19 and join hands with the government to eradicate the virus.

Meanwhile, Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr K Sudhakar, in his tweet said from Thursday onwards the vaccine is available for people above 45 years and nearly 1.66 crore beneficiaries in the state.

At present 13.5 cover shield and 1.5 vaccines and a total of 15 lakh doses available and the same have been distributed across the State. He appealed to the citizens to make use of the facility and get vaccinated.
