The Governor told the students, “You must have passion and be ready to pursue it with utmost discipline, hard work and be willing to make sacrifices.
You emulate the achievements of sporting idols like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and PV Sindhu,” she said.
She also emphasized on the need to practice Yoga and meditation to improve their concentration and read the everyday lessons on the same day and likened it as we take food every day to satiate our everyday hunger.
Dr Tamilisai wanted the children to respect the elders in the family and protect the nature and natural resources and told them not to waste any resource including the time, the most precious of all.
One must enjoy one’s studies and enjoy nature and have a clear vision. I would like to see students from our country emerge as the global leaders in their chosen fields, she said.
