Youth Cong held protest against withdrawal of SPG security to Gandhi family

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Nov 16 (GCCurrentAffairs) Youth Congress activists on Saturday staged a protest outside district collector office here against the Home Ministry’s recent decision to withdraw the Special Protection Guard (SPG) security cover from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his family members.
The activists, led by city youth president Muzferkhan Hussien, gathered outside the collector office and held demonstration against the Central government move to withdrawing security of Rahul Gandhi and his family.
After the demonstration, they submitted a memorandum, which addresses to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, through district collector in which they stated,”After the assassination of former prime ministers Indira Gandhi and her son Rajiv Gandhi, the security cover was given to the family. But now, the NDA-led government has withdrawn security, which is condemnable. Therefore, the protests have been carried out across the country by the Congress party workers.”

“If anything happens to the family, then the Centre would be responsible for it,” the memorandum read.
The party workers also demanded that he SPG security should be given back to the Gandhi family
