Zappi Restructures Leadership to Focus on Future Vision and Day-to-Day Execution

BOSTON, Aug. 4, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Zappi, the ad and innovation testing platform built by brands for brands, today announced an updated new structure for its executive team. It now includes two components: the futures team and the leadership team. The futures team sets the company direction, manages the vision and maintains its values. The leadership team focuses on day-to-day operational effectiveness, covering areas like revenue, resourcing, alignment and efficiency.

With these changes, Zappi brings a range of experience and opinions into the executive leadership of the company, and positions itself to focus on long-term innovation while maintaining an intense focus on delighting customers.

The futures team is chaired by Zappi’s chief executive officer Stephen Phillips and includes the firm’s founding partners as well as two rotating staff members who will serve for six-month periods (for the first six months, rotating members are Z Johnson, vice president of customer transformation, and Andrea Tambourine, business operations manager). Additionally, founder Dave Birch has moved into a new role to lead Zappi X, Zappi’s newly formed innovation arm designed to push boundaries and drive exponential experimentation.

The leadership team is chaired by Ryan Barry and includes:

  • Tom Holliss, head of people and culture
  • Yvonne O’Brien, executive vice president, go-to-market
  • Babita Earle, executive vice president, global partnerships
  • Julio Franco, executive vice president, global customer team
  • Scott Flanagan, executive vice president, global sales
  • Donovan Kennedy, chief product officer and head of UX
  • Brendon McLean, chief technology officer
  • Jimmy Vassilas, chief financial officer
  • Wojtek Kokoszka, chief operating officer
