N Korea says 2nd attempt to launch spy satellite failed

Pyongyang: North Korea said its second attempt to launch a spy satellite has failed, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported citing the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

According to the news agency, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) will attempt a third launch of the satellite in October.

Yonhap earlier reported, citing South Korea’s military, that North Korea launched a so-called “space launch vehicle” on Wednesday.
