Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who has turned into a hero in the western countries because of the battle with Russia, has travelled to the USA amidst strict security, and this was his first foreign trip after the battle began. The USA, considering his trip extremely crucial, provided him with security. Secrecy was maintained regarding his travel schedule as well. On 11th December, discussions took place between both the Presidents of the USA and Ukraine. Three days later, Zelenskyy received the invitation.

As soon as the journey was confirmed on Wednesday morning, the complete programme was prepared discreetly. Keeping in mind the threat of Russian missile attacks on Ukraine, his trip to Washington began by train. Travelling on a train secretly overnight, he reached Poland, and was seen at the railway station of a Polish border town. Here, a convoy of cars was waiting for the Ukrainian President. Zelenskyy and his team then went off in the cars.

Following this, flight data shows that from 80 KMs away from this place, American Air Force’s Boeing C-40 took off, and before the aircraft reached the North Sea, NATO’s spy plane scanned the whole region. From a base in England, America’s F-15 fighter aircraft took off and it stayed with Zelenskyy’s plane till reaching Washington. After around 10 hours following the take-off, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy landed in Washington in the afternoon. Here, he was provided with secret service protection similar to other heads of states. He went back to Ukraine similarly after a two-day journey.
