JKP Bags two Gold and one Silver in 15th All India Police Badminton Championship

Srinagar : J&K Police bagged 2 Gold and 1 Silver medal in 15th All India Police Badminton Championship – (2022-23) recently held at Chandigarh. A 15 Players’ contingent participated in the event and bagged three medals, including two Gold and one Silver. All the medals came in mixed double category.

In GO’s open category, Dy.SP Bikram Kumar and Dy.SP Basanti Bhat won Gold defeating the Ravinder from Assam Rifles. In veterans open, Dy.SP Basanti Bhat and ASI Sukhdev Singh won Gold in the same category whereas Inspr. Ravinder Parihar and Inspr. Kirti Sharma won Silver.

ADGP Armed J&K Shri S.J.M.Gilani-IPS during a felicitation ceremony held at APHQ J&K Jammu congratulated the medal winners of JKP and wished the team best of luck for their future endeavours.
