Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari has instructed officials to make meticulous arrangements in close collaboration with various departments in preparation for the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the state on the first of next month.
The Chief Secretary chaired a high-level meeting on Wednesday to assess the preparations for this high-profile visit.
During the visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to dedicate the NH 365 Khammam-Suryapet road to the nation and lay the foundation stone for the Warangal-Khammam and Khammam-Vijayawada NH 163 greenfield access control highway, which is a part of the Nagpur-Vijayawada economic corridor.
The Chief Secretary specifically directed the police department to ensure adequate security measures in accordance with the established protocols.
Additionally, departments responsible for fire safety, healthcare, electricity, roads, and buildings were instructed to make comprehensive arrangements.
The Collector and Superintendent of Police in Mahbubnagar were tasked with close coordination with the event organizers for the public meeting scheduled to be held at Bhuthpur.
The meeting was attended by key officials, including DGP Anjani Kumar, Energy Special Chief Secretary Sunil Sharma, GAD Secretary Sheshadri, Roads and Buildings Secretary Srinivasa Raju, Medical & Health Secretary Rizvi, I&PR Special Commissioner Ashok Reddy, as well as officials from the Police, NHAI, BSNL, Fire, and Aviation Departments, as stated in an official statement here.
