BJP MLA Raghunandan Rao arrested in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad city police arrested Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Raghunandan Rao on Wednesday at Hakimpet Air Force Station.

The arrest took place when he was en route to Gajwal, where a tense situation had arisen following recent clashes between two communities.

The decision to arrest Raghunandan Rao was made in order to maintain law and order in the area. He was subsequently taken to Alwal Police Station.
