Kolkata: The CBI is probing the alleged recruitment scam in several municipalities.
West Bengal Fire brigade minister Sujit Bose was summoned to appear before investigation officials at the city office, Nizam Palace, at 11 a.m. on August 31, officials said.
The summons happened after the anti-corruption wing of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) seized several incriminating documents during raids on at least 14 civic bodies( municipalities) and found evidence of links between some influential officials in recruitment procedures, sources added.
