Imphal: Eight militants were nabbed in two separate operations during the last 24 hours in the state.
Police said on Monday, security forces conducted a cordon and search operation at Heirok Part-III under Heirok-PS, Thoubal District. During the operation, seven cadres of KCP (PWG) were arrested.
One each of the INSAS LMG, MA3 MK-11, and two Carbine Rifles were recovered.
In another incident Manipur Police arrested one cadre of KCP (PWG) from the Wangoi area, Imphal West.
