Four shopping complex gutted in overnight blaze in Bandipora

Srinagar: In a major fire incident that broke out at Hajin area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district, four shopping complexes were gutted in overnight blaze, officials said.

Fire and Emergency Service officials said that fire broke around 10.35 pm in a shopping complex in the Hajin area and engulfed other nearby complexes causing extensive damage to four shopping complexes.

They said the four shopping complexes involved in the fire incident, three were of double story and a single story of various shopping products were damaged in the devastating fire.

Several fire tenders were rushed to the spot from the district headquarters including from Hajin, Naidkhai, Ajas and Sumbal areas to douse the leaping flames.

No one was injured in the incident they said and added the cause of fire is being ascertained.
