Apple has finally started an assembling unit of I-phones in India and the company is willing to shift its manufacturing unit from China to India but with the recent launch of I-phone 14, it has been realized that for Apple, the shifting of its unit out of China will not come without its own set of challenges.

China’s engineers are playing a huge role in the production of I-phones. According to analysts, the number of Chinese employees in the designing and production of the phones and Chinese companies providing its parts, has increased from earlier times, which involves its design, battery and speakers.

As a result, the Apple I-phone has become such a gadget which is designed in California, and manufactured in China. Which means it has been made both in the USA and China.

Chinese companies will also play an important role when it will come to manufacturing I-phones in India. A number of Chinese and Taiwanese companies and suppliers send parts to Chennai which are then assembled there. These companies provide parts like chargers, and display glasses for I-phone.

China has become an attraction for production because of the cheap labour available, the unmatchable production capacity and its factories. American companies have also been dependent on China because of its engineers and suppliers manufacturing high-technology gadgets.

In the wake of the increasing troubles with Taiwan, Apple is planning to move its unit out of China but the challenges arise as China has taken up all these crucial responsibilities for the company when it comes to manufacturing I-phones.
