J&K: Two terrorists neutralised as Army foils infiltration bid in Naushera

Jammu: Army has successfully foiled an infiltration bid and neutralised two terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in Lam sector of Naushera in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Army said that based on inputs from intelligence agencies and Jammu and Kashmir Police regarding a likely infiltration bid, an anti-infiltration operation was launched by the Indian Army on the intervening night of September 8-9 in general area Lam, Naushera.

“Two terrorists have been neutralised and a large quantity of warlike stores, including two AK-47s and one pistol, have thus far been recovered,” the Nagrota-based White Knight Corps (16 Corps) posted on X, further stating that a search operation is in progress.
