Kochi: While India has banned the Chinese app Tik Tok, it appears that the government of Kerala which is a communist government in the state seems to be thinking it is a part of China.

In a shocking yet amusing action, the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) issued a circular inviting senior assistants in the board who are skilled in social media platforms Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok to manage the social media help desk.

The circular was issued as part of initiating a centralised social media help desk for KSEB. It seems that Tik Tok was added in the circular without being aware that the application was banned recently.

The social media help desk is intended to create awareness among the consumers and to resolve their complaints.
