Man who issued bomb threats to homes of Ambani, Amitabh Bachchan arrested

Mumbai: A man who issued bomb threat to homes of billionaire businessman Mukesh Ambani, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, and cine star Dharmendra, among other prominent people of Mumbai was arrested by Police in neighbouring Palghar city.

The man, a driver by profession is a resident of Nagpur, he had on Tuesday made a phone call to police controll room and claimed that 25 armed men have reached Dadar in Mumbai to carry out a terror attack.

Accordingly police investigation began and several teams were formed

police teams searched all the ports and landing points, along with sensitive and crowded areas of south Mumbai after they received the threat call but they could not find anything suspicious.

During the investigation, police identified the caller as Nagpur resident Ashwin Bharat Mahiskar. who has made cal from Dahanu railway station in Palghar district.

He was later arrested by , the crime branch of Dahanu police.

Further investigation is going on police said.
