Mumbai: Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Thursday assured the Legislative Assembly that strict action will be taken against the culprits whose fake signature and fake stamp of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde have come to light.

Pawar said Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s officials and staff have found that some statements with fake signatures and fake seals have come to the secretariat for processing.

This matter is serious, and the state government has taken it equally seriously.

A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed at the police station in this case. An investigation is going on as to who is behind this case. The matter will be thoroughly investigated, and strict action will be taken against the culprits. He assured me that no one would be spared in this matter.
