Nitish holds first cabinet meeting of NDA government in Patna

Patna: After taking oath as Chief Minister in the NDA government in Bihar on Sunday, Nitish Kumar Chaired the first Cabinet meeting here on Monday.

The meeting which was to be held after the oath taking ceremony on Sunday took place in the forenoon today and approved four agendas.

The Cabinet has given its nod to cancel the date of the budget session of the state legislature which was earlier announced to commence from February 5.

Soon after the Cabinet meeting, the newly inducted Minister Sumit Kumar Singh said that the Feburary 5 date has been cancelled and the cabinet has authorised the Chief Minister to decide the dates afresh in consultation with the Governor.
