In order to beautify their faces, now even common people in the USA are undergoing plastic surgeries in order to remove facial, especially cheek-fat, similar to what celebrities do. The will to look beautiful on social media is also one of the major reasons behind the same. Dr Andrew Jacono from New York, who has performed plastic surgeries on Hollywood actresses, said that some parts of the face define its shape, and the shape of the face is determined by the fat in the area between the cheeks and the jaw, which does not get affected by the change in body weight.

This remains the same right from birth. Jacono added how some people have prominent cheekbones, which is adored by many, and how such surgeries are not new, but now, its trend has increased. Now, Dr Jacono is performing 3 times the surgeries he used to perfrom 5 years ago.

Surgeon Dr Lara Devgan has stated that this is a confidential type of plastic surgery, which changes the whole look of the face with merely a difference of 1-2 millimetres. But if there is already less fat in this region of the cheeks, the face can get flattened by the surgery, and there is also a risk of half the face getting paralyzed.

People from the USA, Africa, and gulf countries are coming to India in order to undergo plastic surgeries, because they are 50% cheaper in India as compared to in the USA, Europe and the middle east. India is therefore becoming a hub for plastic surgeries at low costs for the world.
