Hyderabad: The Telangana Legislative Assembly’s budget session extended into its sixth day on Wednesday, beginning at 1000 hours.

A discussion on the vote on the account budget is scheduled for the day. Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy is expected to unveil a white paper on the Irrigation Department, sparking the potential for heated debates in the House on the department’s matters.

Notably, the assembly has already passed a resolution stating that Krishna projects will not be transferred to the Krishna River Management Board (KRMB).

In a significant development on Tuesday, MLAs from Congress, CPI, and MIM inspected Medigadda barrage, as part of the Kaleswaram project.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has persistently invited BRS president and former CM KCR to attend the assembly, emphasizing that KCR should participate even in the Medigadda visit.
