Will fight to secure Mah land from K’taka: Fadnavis

Nagpur: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday assured the House that the state government will give fight even for an inch of land over Maharashtra-Karnataka border issue.

Fadnavis, who was replying in the Assembly, said the government will do whatever is possible for Marathi people in Karnataka .

“We will not be leaving our people residing in border areas , alone . We will give fight for every inch of land be it in Supreme Court or Centre. We will fight against injustice meted out to those living in border areas and will bring proposal.

On the first day of Second week of Winter Session of Maharashtra Legislature , the opposition parties held protest and raised slogans against Karnataka Chief Minister Basavara Bommai over the Maharashtra-Karnataka border row.
