The Jaipur Dialogues has collected data regarding how the Abrahamic people, especially the Muslims, target the Hindus, over a period of 7 years, and this data has been termed as RULLS, which is Random Unceasing Low Level Scattered Violence. This is pertinent to the targeting of Hindus via various forms of Jihad, which are not blatant or obvious, and happen on a low level.

Despite which, Hindus are attacked in the most horrific and brutal manner. This data reveals that the number of atrocities committed against the Hindus is rising exponentially, and the situation is indeed alarming.

As per the data, if we look at the number of Hindu victims of Jihad, region-wise, we find out that the highest number of victims are from northern India, at 48.6 percent, followed by the east at 19 percent. And while 20.3 percent of the victims were from southern India, 12.2 percent of them were from the western part of the country. Next, if we talk about victims by category of the crime committed against the Hindus, 38.8 percent of the victims have fallen prey to the nefarious phenomenon of Love Jihad, while 33.5 percent victims succumbed to religious violence. 14.6 percent faced generic violence, and 13.1 percent were victims of political violence.

As per The Jaipur Dialogues’ data, back in 2014, there were 3 victims of RULLS Jihad, and the number has kept on increasing since then. In 2015, the number went up to 5, with the number doubling to 10 in the year 2016, which went up to 36 in 2017. In 2018, there was a drop and the number went down to 23, and it further dwindled in 2019 to 21. But since 2020, we see a sharp hike in the number, which was 68 in 2020, 65 in 2021, 118 in 2022, and a whopping 297 in 2023 till now, with more than half of the year remaining.

If we look at the categories of these Jihad murders since 2014, we see that out of the 3 in 2014, 2 were cases of Love Jihad and 1 was of political violence. In 2015, there were 3 cases of Love Jihad, in 2016, 1 was a Love Jihad case, 1 was a case of religious violence, 3 were of political violence, and 1 was of other violence. In 2017, 15 Love Jihad cases, 9 religious violence cases, 3 political violence cases, and 9 other violence cases took place. In 2018, there were 6 Love Jihad cases, 8 cases of religious violence, 6 political violence cases, and 2 of other violence.

In 2019, 11 cases were of Love Jihad, 3 of religious violence, 2 of political violence, and 8 of other violence. If we look at 2020, there were 22 cases of Love Jihad, 8 cases of religious violence, 5 of political violence, and 17 of other violence. In 2021, 22 Love Jihad cases, 16 religious violence cases, 8 political violence cases, and 19 other violence cases were seen. Last year, that is in 2022, 44 cases of Love Jihad, 24 cases of religious violence, 16 cases of political violence, and 34 cases of other violence came up. And finally, till now in 2023, 126 cases of Love Jihad have come to the fore, 159 cases of religious violence have been known, and 12 of political violence have come up.
