In the USA, most of the parents do not want their children to receive gender-based education, and this has been revealed in a recently conducted Pew research, and that is why, the Aarhus University has conducted a survey in order to figure out the relationship between children’s gender identity and physical growth. A number of startling facts have been revealed through the same.

The study revealed that the will of reaching teenage quickly is developing among the children, along with that, children aged 11 years are developing the will of getting their gender changed. The researchers found out through the survey that 5% of the children stated they wanted to change their genders partially or completely. This is the first time that such a survey has been carried out. The information of the bodily changes taking place among the children in every 6 months was collected for the same.

The children who expressed a desire of changing their genders were found to have reached teenage two months prior to those who had not. The data from ‘Better Health for Generations’ research project was used for it. The project had started in 1996 in Denmark, involving a total of 1 lakh women participants. The research continued from their pregnancy, them giving birth, to their children growing up. Once the children turned 11, they were involved in the research revolving around gender and teenage.

Nevertheless, more research is required before reaching a conclusion, so that accurate reasons are known.
