It is a well-known fact that misinformation has been spreading all across the globe via social media platforms like YouTube and Facebook, and now, the preparations to gauge this are being made by the Integrity Institute Advocacy Group. The preliminary report of this organization has shown that a well-formed lie is quite similar to the truth. The analysis of Twitter data has revealed that the platform has published misinformation on a large scale. Next in line is TikTok, similarly, Facebook has a different platform at every level.

Now, an AI-based software has been prepared in order to stop the misinformation being spread, which will be able to track small social media platforms, and it has been named ‘Pyrra’. This automated algorithm has been prepared by a team of the Washington University, which can retrieve the name, place, and topic from the post, and can collect information. It is noteworthy that the software has been made using the same technique, using which, fake information is spread.

CEO, Pyrra, Welton Chang is of the opinion that the first stage of stopping fake information and its spread is to deal with tough questions. The team has manually sorted more than 10 thousand tweets to use the data and create this software, which filters information.
