Hoshiarpur (Punjab): Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, handed over appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in various central government departments at the Rozgar Mela held here on Tuesday.

Mr Puri extended his congratulations to the new appointees and expressed confidence in their dedication to serving the country, believing that their commitment would contribute significantly to achieving the nation’s goals.

Over the past nine years, the country has made remarkable progress, thanks to the government’s progressive policies, consistent monitoring, mission-oriented approach and widespread public participation.

He emphasized that in the coming years, India is poised to become the world’s third-largest economy, and government employees will play a pivotal role in this journey.

The Minister reiterated the significance of the next 25 years, known as Amrit Kaal, in the country’s development and the role of the newly recruited individuals in it.

He also mentioned that he has participated in eight out of the nine Rozgar Melas held so far.

The Rozgar Mela was organized by the Department of Post and took place at the local DAV College, where 25 out of the 254 appointees received their appointment letters directly from Hardeep Singh Puri.

In a virtual address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the recipients of the appointment letters and acknowledged that their selection was the result of their hard work and dedication, considering the large pool of candidates they competed against.
