On Thursday, the Enforcement Directorate, in its chargesheet, said that the Aam Aadmi Party used the money generated from the allegedly committed Delhi liquor scam for campaigning during the Goa elections. The ED chargesheet mentions, “Investigation of the trail of this kickback so far has revealed that part of these funds was used in the election campaign of the AAP”.

Sharing a video message related to this development, BJP leader from the Velim constituency, Savio Rodrigues, calling the information mentioned in the ED chargesheet ‘shocking’, said that the money produced out of the alleged liquor scam was used for the Goa election campaign and this information was revealed to the ED by the Communications In-charge of the AAP, Vijay Nair, who is also one of the main accused in the Delhi liquor scam.

Vijay Nair further told the investigative agency that Rs. 70 lakhs were paid in cash to the volunteers doing surveys in the state of Goa, and it has also been revealed that Rs. 100 crores have been received as kickbacks as a part of the Delhi liquor scam.

Questioning the AAP Goa MLAs, Venzy Viegas and Cruz Silva, and all the other members of the party in Goa, Rodrigues asked whether any money has been received for election campaigning from Vijay Nair for the Goa election campaign of the AAP.

“They need to tell the people of Goa, the truth”, expressed Savio.
